The Berlin Musical Instruments Museum

The Berlin Musical Instruments Museum was founded in 1888 and is now housed in a new building designed according to sketches by the architect Hans Scharoun and located at Berlin’s Cultural Forum next to the Berlin Philharmonic Concerthall. More than 800 instruments of a collection of 3,200 from the 16th century to the present day are on display and many are still in good playing condition.
