Adrien Parret

Adrien Parret, born in 1994 in Messimy, France, is organist at the Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or Church and the Saint-Nom-de-Jesus Church in Lyon, France and, since 2017, city carillonneur in Miribel, France, where he organizes the city's musical activities in collaboration with its tourist office. He began playing the carillon during a summer music course at the conservatory of Pamiers, went on to take regular exams given by the French Carillon Guild and took carillon lessons at the Château des Ducs de Savoie in Chambéry, where he received a diploma for improvisation in 2016 and a degree with honors in 2018. He has given concerts in several French cities as well as in Belgium, Lithuania, Portugal and Switzerland and in 2020 he became the director of the annual international summer carillon festival of Burgundy which stages concerts in Dijon and nearby towns and cities.
