Ariane Toffel and Georg Wagner, born respectively 1975 in Bochum and 1969 in Oetingen, learned to play the carillon at the Nederlandse Beiaardcentrum in Amersfoort from 2014 to 2018 and starting in 2025 have continued taking lessons at the „Jef Denyn“ Carillon School in Mecheln, Belgium. Frau Toffel is a member of the board of the German Carillon Guild. Toffel and Wagner are Carillonneure in Aschaffenburg, Bad Godesberg and Bonn-Beuel and play concerts in Germany.
